As we enter our second lockdown due to the utter incompetence of this corrupt government. A government that has waisted precious resources, money and time during this COVID outbreak. The money given to companies with no track record of supplying PPE nor the data that is being used by people who I wouldn’t trust to tell me the time, never mind my personal data.
The track and trace debacle that is being overseen by someone who couldn’t even run Talk Talk telecommunications properly or the shadowy ex members of the Labour Party that suddenly found comfort wearing ermine in The House of Lords. None of this should surprise us but as we enter the second period of lockdown, just as we think things couldn’t get any worse, they do.
The opposition not opposing the government, just standing to one side and letting them get away with blue murder. An opposition of misfits and neoliberal to their core! Thinking not of their constituents struggling to make ends meet, the worry of children forced back to school, the families facing eviction when furlough payments end. The businesses going bankrupt because they didn’t oppose the government when Keir took over! The NHS in crisis because of 10yrs of austerity by Cameron, Osborne, Clegg & May. The heroes of the NHS, Social Care, Cleaners, Delivery Drivers, Shop Workers & the Voluntary Sector that have kept this country going through the crisis. Not the Bankers, Politicians, Think Tanks or Journalists, these are the people who take and give nothing back.
The politicians want us back to work, our kids back at school our pubs and clubs open so we take the hit against COVID and not them!
When I see every politician back in Parliament sitting on these green benches all 650 of them at work in committees, on the benches, then and only then have that the right to expect people to back to work!
