This is the reaction to a leader who doesn’t believe in anything but power. He knows he wants power and will say and do anything to get power but once given, doesn’t have a clue what to with it. This fabled rhetoric that Starmer’s supporters keep trotting out that he’s a human rights barrister and one of his first actions is to abstain on the Spycops bill, whilst undermining democracy in the party. He then goes on to remove the whip from Jeremy (legally he maybe on dodgy ground & the party) he doesn’t defend the NEU opposing this corrupt government and its fanatics wanting children back to school without credible safety measures, he backs the government instead. Meanwhile...we have the most shambolic shadow cabinet I have ever seen and to top it off he lets his mate Dave the GS undermine BAME members and attack CLP’s for being democratic! Not to mention the various shenanigans going on at regional offices imposing the GS diktats determined to silence any opposition to our Forensic leader.
As you may have gathered I’m not a fan of Starmer. My conscience is clear I didn’t vote for him or the very disappointing Angela Rayner who has lost all credibility with me as someone I can trust. They have both been given roles way beyond their capacity and in any other organisation would have sacked by now. Faced with the most corrupt government in my lifetime (59yrs) why are we not 20 points ahead? Although many of the PLP show utter contempt for the electorate, the electorate aren’t stupid and they know when someone is on their side or not, if Starmer and his cronies in the PLP think that their current course of action will get them into power I’ve got a bridge to Northern Ireland to sell to them!
